Tired of new posts yet? That could be bad, since you're only half way done...




So while half of us took down Christmas decorations, the other half began raking.
Six trees and three hours later, with 30 more (trees) to go, we began to wonder exactly why we were raking.
We assumed it was to keep the grass from dying.
But when we saw that the grass was greener under the leaves than anywhere else we began to doubt.
We sent Calder in to google it.
Google said it was a 'Northern' thing.
It was rather presumptuous of us to think that our efforts controlled the green growth here in Oklahoma.
I don't think anybody could stop that grass from growing elephant's eye high.

So we quit.

And we hope that's not what these Oklahoman's did too...
Even so,... we're willing to chance it.
